These terms apply to your use of the Laminate website at laminate.id (the "Website"), which is run by Laminate Systems ("Laminate", "we"). By using the Website you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use it.
1. What the Website is
The Website tells you about Laminate and lets you get in touch with us. It is information, not an offer. Descriptions of the product, its features and how it works are general, can change, and are not a promise of any particular result or of availability. Nothing on the Website states a price, a service level or a commitment, and nothing creates a contract until a written order is accepted.
Organizations that use Laminate, and the people they invite, use the product under the Customer Terms and the Privacy Policy, not these terms. The "Log in" button takes you to the Laminate console, which has its own terms.
2. Using the Website
You may use the Website for lawful purposes only. You must not:
- try to gain unauthorized access to the Website, the servers it runs on, or anything connected to them;
- interfere with the Website or send it malicious code or excessive automated requests;
- scrape or copy it systematically, other than as search engines normally do; or
- use it in a way that breaks the law or another person's rights.
3. Contacting us
The "Talk to us" form sends your name, email address and message to the Laminate team, who use them to reply to you. Please do not put sensitive information in it, such as ID numbers, health details or anything about the people you manage. What happens to your message is described in the Privacy Policy. Sending a message does not create a confidential relationship, and we may reply or not.
4. Our content and your use of it
The Website, its text, designs, images and logos belong to Laminate or its licensors, and are protected by intellectual property law. You may view the Website and share its pages by link. You may not copy, adapt or republish its content, or use the Laminate name or logo, without our written permission.
5. Other websites and services
The Website may link to other sites, and the contact form uses services provided by other companies, such as Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a visitor is real. We do not control other companies' sites or services and are not responsible for them.
6. No warranty
The Website is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranty that it will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted or free of errors or harmful components, and we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.
7. Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, Laminate is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or for lost profits, arising from your use of the Website or reliance on it. Our total liability to you for any claim about the Website is limited to $100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Changes
We may change the Website, and may update these terms. The version and the "Last updated" date at the top show when they last changed. Using the Website after a change means you accept the new terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. The state courts of Fairfax County, Virginia, and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, Alexandria Division, have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about them or the Website.
